Email hello@airclear.app and a person will read it. We aim to reply within two business days.
If you are writing about something you saw in the app, telling us your app version (Account, at the bottom) and roughly where on the map it happened makes the answer much faster.
Reporting wrong airspace data
Use the report button inside the app rather than email. It sits on the result sheet after you tap the map, and on the rules pages. It sends the exact point you tapped along with the app and ruleset versions, which is what makes a report investigable; a description alone usually is not enough to find the problem.
Reports go into a research queue and are checked against primary sources. That takes time, because the fix is reading the statute or the FAA dataset rather than taking our word or yours for it. Reports are anonymous unless you choose to attach your account.
What AirClear covers, and what it does not
AirClear covers the United States only. It checks federal airspace, state law and state park land, and citywide ordinances for a small number of cities whose rules we have read in primary source.
Local ordinance coverage is deliberately narrow. A quiet Local tab means AirClear has not checked that city, not that the city allows flying. There are tens of thousands of municipalities in the United States and we would rather cover a few honestly than imply we cover them all.
If a data source does not answer, the app says so instead of showing a clear result. A caution banner or a "could not verify" line is the app working as designed, not a bug.
AirClear is not an authorization
AirClear is an information tool. It does not file LAANC requests, it does not grant permission to fly, and it does not replace the FAA's official sources or your own preflight checks. You remain responsible for the legality of your flight.

Deleting your account. Account, then Delete account, in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Resetting your password. Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen. The link opens a page on this website, so you can finish the reset on a computer.
